These Terms of Use govern your access to athleticsmd.org, operated by AthleticsMD LLC ("AthleticsMD®," "we," "us"). By using the site, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Content here is general information and education. It is not medical advice, it does not create a physician-patient or therapist-patient relationship, and it is no substitute for evaluation by a licensed clinician. A care relationship with AthleticsMD® begins only when you are accepted as a patient and evaluated by one of our providers. Never delay seeking care because of something you read here.

Our forms exist for scheduling requests, referrals, invoices, careers, and general questions. They are monitored during business hours only. Do not put detailed medical history, images, or other sensitive health information into general contact forms; use our secure intake process or bring it to your visit. Once you are a patient, your health information is protected as described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

By giving us your phone number or email, you agree we may contact you about your inquiry or appointments. Message and data rates may apply to texts. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages.

Everything on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and page design, belongs to AthleticsMD LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. AthleticsMD® and PREOOP™ are trademarks of AthleticsMD LLC. Do not use our marks or republish site content without our prior written permission. Viewing and printing pages for personal, noncommercial use is fine.

You agree not to use this site unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with the site's operation, scrape or harvest data, submit false referral or intake information, or impersonate any person or organization.

This site links to and embeds services run by other companies, including maps, forms, and scheduling tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information. Their terms govern your use of them.

To the fullest extent the law allows, AthleticsMD® disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, and fitness for a particular purpose. We work to keep information current, including insurance participation and service descriptions, but details change; confirm anything that matters to your care with our office directly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, AthleticsMD LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here changes our responsibilities to you as a patient under medical and professional standards.

Maryland law governs these terms, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes arising from these terms or your use of this site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with its effective date, and continued use after changes means you accept them. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stay in effect.
