These commitments are grounded in federal law, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.

Free Aids and Services

At no cost to you, we provide:


  • Communication support for people with disabilities: qualified sign language interpreters, and written materials in large print, audio, and accessible electronic formats
  • Language help if English is not your primary language: qualified interpreters and written information in other languages

If You Believe We Fell Short

If you believe we failed to provide these services, or discriminated on any basis listed above, file a grievance with our Civil Rights Coordinator in person, by mail, by phone, or by email. If you need help filing, the Coordinator will help you. The process is simple:

  1. File your grievance within 60 days of the event.
  2. We investigate. Expect us to contact you if we need more detail.
  3. You receive our written response within 30 days.

Filing With the Federal Government

You can also file a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, at any time within 180 days of the alleged discrimination:
